Hotly sought after American actor, Tom Cruise spent most of one day with NZ movie maker, Peter Jackson a day or so ago in Wellington, NZ. It was reported that it was simply a friendly overnight visit from Cruise to meet Jackson on his home turf and at his studios complex and there were no discussions about a part for Cruise in any forthcoming movie. I BET!!

I invite Black Curtain members to reply to this topic with ideas as to the real reason for Tom Cruise rapid trip to little NZ and the current world’s most important movie maker.

I think that he might’ve asked Peter about a part in a forthcoming movie. Either that, or he was having a friendly chat.

Luke - I don’t think a "friendly chat" was a reason for Tom’s fleeting visit.

Why do you think he came to Wellington?

Cruise came to see Peter Jackson in regard to a major acting role in a forthcoming movie.
But just what Jackson movie this might be????
Perhaps someone will have a clue or an educated idea.
