Since being diagnosed, I have found that now I take each day at a time. I never look too far ahead. I try to make each day count for something, anyway I can. I also don’t let the small things bother me. And I live with no regrets, at all.

Since I was diagnosed with cancer I feel like I lost myself along the way. The person I once was is gone forever and I can not find her. I miss her. She was fun, and laughed alot and was carefree. She is gone now.

Since my 17 year old sister passed away from cancer back on June 5th 2000 my life has been missing the closeness that we shared as not only sisters but best friends.
I also gained something and that is to savor each moment I have with loved ones while I am here.

I was not diagnosed with breast cancer. I had cervical. But I was in radiation with a survivor. At times i was ready to give up hope. But Maddy would turn to me, have a kind word, always hopeful. It was one of the hardest things when I walked in one day, Maddy wasn’t there. She lost her battle. But that doesn’t mean I have gave up mine! I will fight for her her, her memory.

My Aunt was diagnosed in Noverber of breast Cancer and did not survive the surgery in early December of 2009. Now I have recently found out that my mom has also been diagnosed of lung cancer. I am an only child with a beautiful daughter of my own. I want to learn about and support any thing that can help this cause. I am currently a student in college learning to become a medical assistant. I vow to help and try to prevent anyone from going thru what I am currently going thru. I am going to start a support group to help the families that are affected by this disease they call Cancer. I would love any feedback that anyone want’s to get these feelings off of there chest or out of their hearts!

Cancer has reeked havick on our family. My grandmother died of breast cancer before I was born. I wish I could have met her. My aunt died of breast cancer when I was 6 years old. We were very close. I really miss her. My sister which I was very close to battled cancer for 7 years. She lost her battle in 1991. I miss her so very much. I saw her strength as she went through her battle. It has made me realize that if she could be strong through all she went through I can also have strength though the battles I have to go through. Ive had three scares with cancer. thankfully I was spared. I have seen so many people in my life battle cancer of all types. I admire their strenght.

My wife and mother of our daughter passed away August 22, 2007 from metastatic breast cancer, she was diagnosed in April of 2006 and just a little over a year laster she passed away it spread to her spine her hip her brain and her lungs. It will always stay with me because it was exactly a month and a day after her birthday she had just turned 31 on 07/21, and it was the day before my daughters 8th birthday. If we’d had known that would be her last birtday we’d have celebrated it even more. Even to this day it is hard to believe that she is gone and my daughter still has moments where she asks me why mommy had to die so young, I pray for those that have been diagnosed and that you will be fully recovered from this, and that you are blessed to have many more years with your families. And I pray for those who either have loved ones that are going though this or have lost someone. May God keep and Bless you all. and comfort you in this time of need.

My father has a form of leukimia i know its not cancer but our family has had a really hard time with things. when i was 14 they diagnosed him with geons beura syndrome i probably didn’t spell that right. But he has gone through many treatments and he just can’t beat it. It lay dormant for about 2 years and as soon as we were getting our lives back together it came back. It will kill him probably within the next 8 years and its a hard thing to except but people like all of you are what gets us by day to day. the people who have had to deal with it themself or with family. You understand and care and that means the world to me and my family anything i can do to help raise money and find a cure for all this ill do i pray everynight not just for my dad and my family but for everyone else that has to deal with the nightmare of death because of this its not fair but one day we will find a cure and i can’t wait for that day. God Bless all of you for being so strong and excepting your true heros and their is a special place in heaven for all of you because of how big your hearts are it takes a true and honest strong willed person to do what you do. Thank you and God Bless you all. Your all in mine and my familys prayers

I myself have never been through cancer. I was just wanting to say, that in my life, I have lost 3 great grandparents to lung cancer. My great grandma on my dad’s side, has beat it twice. My mother in law whom I am very close to and for the time being, live with to help. Has been battling ovarian cancer for almost 5 years. I know this seems off subject of breast cancer. I just wanted to say, anyone out there. That you are so brave and there is hope. I can’t imagin what your going through. And if anyone needs anything, even just to send an email. I’ll do anything i can to help. I dont think i could ever be that strong.
Lots of love.

my aunt was diagnosed with breast cancer about 6 years ago she overcame the disease but still to this day if she feels anything unusual she does begin to have those flashbacks to when she was diagnosed with breast cancer as a 30 year old women i am very aware of what your body goes through and am very content with doing my self exams monthly cancer is nothing to be taken lightly. on the other hand i lost an aunt to lung cancer this summer the doctors couldnt figure out what was wrong with her. there are many forms of cancer that need cures i hope i live long enough to see a cure not just treatments but a cure. as the saying goes "anyone who says winning isn’t everything, never had to fight cancer"

2 YEARS AGO MY COUSIN PASSED AWAY AFTER BEING DIAGNOSED WITH BREAST CANCER AND IT CHANGED MY WORLD BECAUSE AFTER HER PASSING I BECAME MORE AWARE ABOUT THIS CANCER. IT MAKES ME LOOK AT PEOPLE SO MUCH MORE DIFFERENT BECAUSE MY COUSIN LOOKED HEALTHY FROM THE OUTSIDE BUT WE ALL KNOW THAT ON THE INSIDE SHE WAS HURTING...NOW I SEE PEOPLE AND I DONT JUDGE THEM CAUSE I DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE GOING THROUGH...I MISS MY COUSIN DEARLY SHE FOUGHT A GOOD FIGHT BUT NOW SHE IS A BETTER PLACE WITH WHERE THERE IS NO PAIN. I TRY MY HARDEST TO HELP WITH EVEN JUSS A SMALL DONATION AT A GROCERY STORE BECAUSE I KNOW ONE DAY WE WILL FIND A CURE. IM ONLY 18 YEARS OLD BUT HAVING MY COUSIN PASS AWAY TAUGHT ME ALOT BECAUSE LIFE IS TOO SHORT AND YU NEVER KNOW WHEN SOMETHING MIGHT HAPPEN...
I HAVE SO MUCH RESPECT FOR PEOPLE LIVING WITH BREAST CANCER BECAUSE THEY ARENT GIVING UP IN THIS FIGHT.

My life has been impacted by many forms of cancer. My grandfather died of a weird kind of throat cancer. My Mom is a cervical cancer SURVIVOR! And one of my best friends from high-school [Tiffany] was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in August 2008.
Tiffany has been in the fight for her life since then. She has NEVER given up hope. No matter how bad things got and still are, Tiffany still SMILES. She has been such an inspiration to me. She is truly my HERO!
NEVER, EVER GIVE UP!
Once you choose hope, ANYTHING is possible.
God Bless! = )
