I am playing the beta for Aion and loving it so far. WoW kinda grows old after awhile. Once you raided osmethign yes you go back for hte gear but the thrill of the challenge is gone.

Aion is PvP oriented yes but does have alot of PvE Content, most instances are PvE but there are PvPve Instances where not only do you fight a raid boss but also the other faction. While in wow the raid would be the same, with a PvPvE raid the instance is new each time.

Yet Wow killed other mmo’s of its time that people thought would never die. It’s going to happen and quite frankly i hope the Aion or star wars mmo do it ;)

Aion arena looks horrible.

Doubtful, but it’s a lot of fun either way.

Aion has GameGuard.

Not a fan of a company that uses such intrusive software.

im quitting WoW to play Aion actually.... ive already tanked all the bosses for 25 naxx ulduar and the new raids etc... im just waiting every week for the new boss to kill and eventually kill arthas then AION!

but yeah after WoW blows over i bet blizzard will make another MMORPG that will make us go wild like maybe World of Diablo!! or world of starcraft :D

Aion is a great game. My WoW account is still open but I only play maybe... 4 hours a week now? I’m not sure if I want to get sucked into another game now, with college & work starting I’ll maybe have an hour to play every day...

warhammer = wow killer.

age of conan= wow killer

guild wars= wow killer.

yet all who venture there return to wow. i wonder why.


maybe because the biggest and the best keeps folks returning.

all they doing with Aion whatever is postponing the release of Cataclysm.
