ok so i was having a problem because i dont use the email that i use to login my myspace, so what i did was i went to my account clicked on CONTACT INFO then were it says EMAIL ADDRESS AND IM INFORMATION ,under that it says OTHER EMAIL 1 and i typed in my email that i use and they send you an attachment and follow that link and it lets me login with the email i use well i hope it works for people who are having that problem good luck to everyone

A super genius guy posted this in another forum, I thought I’d pass it on:

"Hey guys! Im going to tell you how to change your email address for myspace.

To change your primary Email address, here’s what you do:
log into MySpace and click My Account (on the upper right corner of the page)
click Account (on the upper nav bar)
scroll down the first module labeled Contact Address, delete your old Email and type in the new address you’d like to use for logging in and getting notifications
click Save Changes
MySpace will send a confirmation to your old Email address that you’ll need to click through to verify that you still have control over the account


If you no longer have access to your old Email address, here’s what you do:
click Contact MySpace (on the right)
send them a salute
tell them you no longer have access to the old Email address tied to your MySpace account (and let them know what it is) and tell us the new Email address you’d like to use instead
they’ll send a confirmation Email to the new address (so be sure to check to spam and junk folders if you don’t hear from them in a few days)
click through the link on the confirmation Email to complete your change of address.

are you sure you went to your account then clicked on contact info then scrolled down to Email Address and IM Information and under that type the email that you use were it says other Email 1, then something should pop up next to it that says something about sending verification click that and it should send you an Email to the email that u typed in,
it worked for me, hope it works for you

im having that problem, but i don’t know the password 2 my email, or the answer 2 the secret question

ummm mayby this MIGHT work make a new email right now then do the steps i typed up there and when you go to ur account and click contact info scroll down and type the email you just made under other Email 1 and it should send you a verification to the email u just made and it should let you login with the email u just made but idk if it will work you can try

Hey guys.. I had the same problem with the email thing, too. I had a hotmail account and I haven’t checked it in so long that it got deleted. So you might be able to try and reactivate your actual email account, too.. If that makes sense. Hope I helped :)

Ive been too busy posting in my forum that i forgot to post in this one.

The idea about re-setting your email will work like a charm. If you cant get the myspace reset to work go to your email provider and try to re-activate it. Email Companys usually keep inactive email loggins for about 6-12 months after inactivity. If it has been longer they usually delete it but still worth a shot for most of you!
