thats because the first one was to damn short and easy

i feel its perfect timing to relesase the lfd 2 game. as popular the first one is and as short as it was keep the story going. the game play for the 1st lfd was fun and i like how its coming out in nov. Iam ready to keep killing zombies.

I agree, way to early. Many of my friends I play with are wondering if this is really going to L4D2 or if they are just messing with everyone and its going to be just a big addon.

It’s not an add-on and likely won’t be. With the updated AI Director it wouldn’t make sense - it would have to be a new game. Personally, I’m excited. I enjoyed the first, and I still do, and I’m willing to shell out another 50 or so bucks just to get more. It’s more starting content than what the first game had when it was released, anyway.

My only disappointment is that there wasn’t news of Half-Life 2 Episode 3 from Valve, and they put this out, instead.

It would be cool if Zoey, Francis, Bill, and Louis meet and the enable like a 8 player mode.

its not left 4 dead 2 its a add-on for left 4 dead

personally i think the new characters suck, but then again i am a little biased....being that i had my own lil Zoey to play with :) but lots of the new ideas seem pretty tight, i just hope they work out a least half the bugs and exploits before release!

i agree, i just wish they kept the original 4 characters....these new ones are llllaaaaammmeee!

they need to release half life 2 episode 3 not another half life or an update for tf2 -_-

im thrilled about the new l4d, i agree it might be too soon but lets see how this comes out. ummmmm the original characters should have been kept becuase in the first one they didnt die or get infected so yea just a thought

Whatever the matter of it being too early for a whole new game, i completely disagree with Valve creating 4 new survivors to be played. I guess it’s cool to see how others are handling the apocalypse, but I really prefer the originals.

On a more positive note, the new melee weapons look pretty damn beast. I wouldn’t mind chainsawing a couple thousand zombies ^_^

Its like Kingdom Under Fire.. that game came and went to a 2nd one
As well as God of war.. with the freakin 3rd one..
BUt Left 4 Dead, i suppose if you’ve gone through the game enough, you want more, you would want the 2nd one to come out eventually- assuming one is to be a rather intense gamer.
I’ve played it, beet it, ready for more..
Though that’s just my opinion.
