thats why michael made a mistake in dropping thomas howard from season 1 - he was the tie between anne and katharine. major creep that he was. power hungry.

and on showtime on demand they have a series of clips with michael - funny how he says after henry passed away you had his son who was too young to rule, so his uncle was regent, than you had mary than elizabeth. what about lady jane grey!?!??!

i am grateful micheal brought the tudors to us - but just dont agree with some of his decsions.

Can’t Waite till sunday to see the last one for the season this has been a great season i just hope the next season is as good as this one was.

aww i liked her giggly ways she was so refreshing! this season needed her it was so monotone this season, and does anyone other than me think that waiting a whole year for eight episodes was ridiculous.. at least 12 would have been nice....and has anyone heard about thenew series about the children of henry?

I think waiting a whole year for 8 episodes was and is ridiculous... I was surprised that there were only 8... at the very least they should have extended the last episode... making it 2 hours long... does anyone know if jrm is returning for the last season... I heard he doesn’t want to gain the weight but how about a fat suit hun... I mean come on... he should finish what he started. I miss Anne Boelyn she brought life to the tudors!!!

I think Mart posted in something or I read something that the next season will start filming in June!!!!!

So we will have to wait another year.

Just heard that ShowTime has decided to end this show at 4 seasons instead of the promised five! They cite their reason as being the show is too expensive to produce! I find that sad, considering it is their top show, and is the only reason many of us subscribe to ShowTime in the first place.

So, next season will be the last with 10 episodes. I hope they don’t go back on their word on this, cuz the measily 8 episodes that they offered up this season was barely enuff to whet the appitite!

I hope someone has the sense and the spirit to do a spin off from this series...perhaps on the children of the king! That would be awesome! All i know is that American television needs this sort of show! I love this stuff! Let’s pray it happens...

THAT SOUNDS GREAT A NEW CAMELOT I WOULD WATCH THAT FOR SURE

season 4 is the final season, filming started this week at ardmore, with location work due to commence at the start of july. as for the reasons behind this being the final season and season 3 only being 8 episodes, it really has nothing to do with budgets.

ardmore studios is irelands biggest studio and production times are booked well in advance, the same goes for crew and actors alike, so shooting schedules have been cut for these reasons.

as for camelot being a spin off, it’s not....camelot will be filmed in a purpose built set based in the wicklow mountains although as yet, dates for production have not been set.

the crew that film the tudors are involved in many other productions, since wrapping season 3 last october i have worked on two major drama series and one major hollywood movie with the same crew that i work with on the tudors, and we literally finish one production on a friday, have the weekend off and start back on monday.

season 4 is set to be explosive, and whilst i would love to give you folks an idea of what happens, i am not at liberty, but everyone involved in s.4 is really excited and we are all looking forward to a busy but productive summer.....
