does anyone out there know that addictions kill 90% of the people that have them? its true... addicts die everyday. oh, you wont see cause of death listed as addiction most of the time. we die by murder, suicide, in cars and other accidents, overdoses and lots of other horrible ways too.
did you also realize that nobody has to ever die from it either? it is entirely treatable. do you know there is a solution? i, personally, have found a solution. there are many solutions and some of them work. another addict doesnt have to die and we all can make a difference if we want it.
want more info? me or any of my 11,000 friends will be happy to talk to you about this...
YOU DONT HAVE TO DIE FROM ADDICTION BUT YOU ALSO DONT HAVE TO LIVE THAT WAY ANYMORE.

If everyone, regardless of addiction, worked a twelve step program. Imagine what a beautiful world it would be.

AHHHHHHHHHHHH Cheri...I have been a huge fan of saying that everyone should work the 12 steps and if not addicted, leave out what doesnt fit. It would be a very cool world...............

AND IF YOU DON’T OVERDOSE FROM DRUGS AND ALCOHOL YOUR BODY WILL START TO DETERIORATE SOONER THAN IT SHOULD. TEETH WILL START TO ROT AND FALLOUT, STROKES AND HEART ATTACKS WILL SOON START. AND YOU CAN LOOSE YOUR MIND...PERMANENTLY!!

So sadly true it is...Cunning, Powerful and yet Baffling. So many of us have this addiction yet struggle to seek help. Yes there is a Solution and No it isn’t a miracle pill or fairy dust that can be sprinkled on you. Yes it is true Death is apart of Life but it doesn’t have to be a part of the disease of addiction.
I know for myself I spent a-lot of years thinking I would be the one to get a handle on the disease and that I was the only one who understood what my daily survival was like, turns out I wasn’t alone and the solution to my addiction was waiting for me all along.
So many souls get lost before they realize there truly is a solution, I got a call not more than 2hr’s ago that another friend of mine has passed away...Like I said this disease is CUNNING, BAFFLING and POWERFUL....

Being alive with an active addiction isn’t living, it’s existing. Recovery is where life begins. I just had my 2nd sober birthday yesterday. I learned a new way of living, and it is very fulfilling. I’m glad I’m an alcoholic. Black and white. No grey area. Peace, T

Unfortunately, some of us get clean and die months or even years after from the damage we do to our bodies while we’re out there. I don’t know if my poor liver has actually forgiven me, or if it ever will. The time to get clean is NOW because there might not be that much later available.
