A dear friend of mine, former college roommate, in my wedding, I was in his...lost touch...perhaps 17 years ago.....

I for fun tried searching for him and found him a couple of hours ago - we've exchanged e-mail, a long phone call and I am so blessed to have found and reconnected with this absolutly amazing friend, who is married, just had a baby 6 months ago, has found his path in life.

This was an amazing miracle for me today. I have to say "thank you" MySpace. And thank you Vicki for nudging me to create a profile here, and thank you "Divine" for the amazing timing.

When things like this come together, the feeling of appreciation is so strong and amazing...for those that may be new to celebrating miracles - when you have one that hits you in your heart like this - savor it, remember it, celebrate it - really focus on remembering the feeling.

I have been sober for 2 1/2 years. Only by the Grace of a Higher Power. I've found a Fifth Dimension of living that I never thought possible as an active alcoholic. It truly is a Miracle then I didn't lose all...thanks for providing a place to reflect on my Serenity.

Now, every sober breath I draw, is a miracle. Only through spiritual growth can I remain sober. Non-traditional avenues, like this forum, can only add to my serenity. I appreciate this group because the legality of other religions is a big turn-off for me.
