I read when they were filming that they were switching Janes. I agree the first one was prettier. She seemed more innocent and virginal than this new one. There was something sweet about her. I feel bad for the character Jane in general. After the whirlwind that was Anne, that’s a tough act to follow.

After watching the first episode of the season, I have to admit...I felt there was something missing. Not even Natalie, just in general. Maybe it’s the fact JRM’s hair looks like he could be the lead in The Outsiders. Still enjoyed the episode, but I could feel the shift...

Well out of all of Henry’s wives Anne B. was the most vivacious. Her cousin’s pretty out there too if I remember reading correctly. Wife 5. I don’t think things will get good until Jane’s pregnant and the aftermath. Any word on how they’re going to wrap in last two wives in the story? I’m assuming they’ll be going for another season.

I’m kind of irritated that they’re not making JRM fat. Don’t get me wrong, the man is just delicious. But I wish they would fatten him up or at least make him a little heavier.

JRM SAID THAT HE WOUL NOT DO THE FAT SUIT, SO HE THINKS THAT HE IS BETTER THAN KEITH MITCHEL???
I DID THINK THAT HE DID AN AWSOME JOB IN THE SCENE WITH HIS BAD LEG THOUGH

Oh yeah that scene looked brutal. :( That sucks about the fat suit. I can’t recall ..but when he did Elvis, did he wear a fat suit for that one? It’s been awhile since I’ve seen that movie. =-/

I am enjoying this season the most so far...Anne ran her course and I love seeing "Henry" truly in love with someone that he has real feelings for...with Katherine it was respect and obligation, with Anne lust, but He genuinly loves Jane, and JRM is AN awesome actor...I’m glad they are not making him fat....it’s perfect just as it is...AND I think they should take it all the way through Elizabeth...this is an excellent series and very close in most ways to historical accuracy:)

LOVE IT!

I agree. I felt we didn’t see enough of her either. :(

Question to those who are well read in the matter of His Majesty:

I’ve been reading materials off and on since The Tudors’ first season and I just came across an interesting article portraying Henry as more of a bully towards Jane after Edward’s birth forcing her to attend his christening when she was gravely ill which could have contributed to her death. Is this true?

Here is where I read it: http://www.luminarium.org/encyclopedia/janeseymour.htm

I’d really appreciate some input. I know there’s a ton of you out there who definitely know more about Henry’s history than I do.

Thanks :)
