I read a review of From Here On In in a Tower Records magazine in 2001.

My friend gave cd to me in 2002 before she left to Australia.

I love them ever since.

Thinking back, I believe that it was 2002, not 2001 for me as well. All kind of a blur, though.

I used to work at Tower Records and it's really good time ^_^

Even with the store discount, I'd end up spending half my check at the store.

The best thing was... i got lots of promo cds ^_^

The WB network has always done well with informing me about bands I should be listening to. I heard "Paint the Silence" for the first time in early 2002 on the TV show "Roswell" and had to hear more. It was all uphill from there.

I was playing my click-through-Amazon game where I start with a band I really like and keep clicking on the "people who bought this CD also bought..." links. I wound up getting a link for With The Tides and picked it up. About two weeks later I went and bought the rest of the catalogue.

In 2001. I burnt a cd of From Here On In from someone else. I got back into them in 2004 in a huge way and have pretty much been obsessed since. I drove down to Atlanta in October and chastised them for not coming to Nashville. It hasn't worked so far, but I'm still bugging them.

Anyway, I first heard "Paint The Silence" by South on The OC.

Well, lets see. I believe I first heard South back in early 2000 on an old show called Roswell. It took me a bit to finally buy the cd, but Im glad I did and I have been hooked since.
