This is just not the America I grew up in. Our community has lost five computer corporations. There are one or two new companies, but working for them is lousy. They start at $8 an hour, there is ageism, racism, and a lot of fear because they can fire you for anything. Rules, rules, rules! The tension is so thick you would have to be half dead to miss it. We are less that two hours away from Denver, but it is so different. Denver may only have fast food type of work, but here we are FIGHTING over getting the fast food jobs. Everyone looks sad, tired or ill. Help me figure out how to have hope! Cote’ Rivers
