I haven't posted a fotd in ages, just been throwing them in my blog instead...so i decided i should get with it since I don't have anything to do today..oh and i also need help regarding a look... I did just a couple pics of each as to not kill the page too much, it'd take forever to type what i used..so just ask :) cc welcome!


friday's fotd inspired by shandra & neeley's gold glitter/red lips look




had to turn it in to this for the m.i.a. show since i couldn't get that glitter off




Here's where I need some suggestions! I was sent these lenses from sfxeyecolor.net in return for photo's and need to create a look around them. This was just a quick test, so i could see how they look. I'd love some recommendation's
on colors/different looks to try and do with these.

lisa ...no i didn't go to school, well not for makeup anyways. I went to design school, which in a way a lot of what's learned in art classes can translate well in to makeup...but nope! most of what i've learned is just through practicing and trying out new looks, even if they're not good ones...just stepping out of the every day makeup 'comfort zone' is really great for improving overall skill.

There aren't even words to explain how fucking amazing all of those looks are. You really kicked ass on the lenses example. You made me want to buy a pair for sure.

what did you use on your lips here?

what lipstick was thay bright red shiny sparkly kind? they used to sell something like that up here by manic panic but i can no longer find it

thanks! it's pretty easy. Just take a section of your bangs, i started a little further back since my normal bangs are shorter. Then I used my 1 1/2 in curling iron to curl under, pinned the underside with bobby pins at the front of the hairline. For the sides I just curled them up, then you grasp the curl and wrap it up and pin it. Mine turned out kind of sloppy, it's supposed to look more the like a 'hair roll' but i didn't want to re-do it. Takes about 5 minutes! pretty simple!

the red glitter lips..are just a regular red lipstick, then i pressed in a very fine red glitter and added clear gloss over top.

OMG!! You are so freaking awesome!! I really admire your talent; I'd give my little toe o have half your skills, LOL!!!

And regarding yor question about the contacts ... I think maybe something gold/yellow, would compliment the color nicely, but I'm no pro, so I could be way off =I
