I'm pretty sure it's under production, people are saying that it is still just a rumor, but I have read that they have already made agreements with certain film companies (can't rememer which) but I do hope that it is. I'm curious to as what it will be about.

This movie could work because master chief never takes off his helmet, so they could just have a voice over. But hollywood has just about fucked every other videogame movie.

According to the August 2005 issue of Game Informer (..148), "Receptionists of Hollywood's major studios got a shock when messengers dressed up in full Master Chief garb delivered a script treatment for a Halo movie written by '28 Days Later' screenwriter Alex Garland. Microsoft reportedly wanted at least a $10 million advance & a $75 million budget. At the time of this writing, 20th Century Fox & Universal were said to be negotiating to team up to finance the film." I apologize if any of this info is incorrect, I took it word-for-word from that issue of Game Informer. To you others that wrote "Hollywood has yet to make a good video game film" or anything similar to that, I say BULLSHIT!!!

i really think the movie will suck if they use actors and cameras, the whole movie should be done with computers, like a really long really beautiful cinematic, like the final fantasy movie
